From therapeutic riding sessions and Veterans programs to summer camps and riding lessons, each program harnesses the unique power of horse-human connection. Step into our working barn for hands-on experiences with a variety of farm animals, from bunnies to horses. Students learn animal care, science, and responsibility while engaging with our friendly farm residents and potentially witnessing the miracle of new life during spring birthing season.
February 18 – March 18
Our therapeutic riding program combines horseback riding instruction with specialized therapeutic activities, helping riders with behavioral health, physical, and cognitive disabilities develop new skills and confidence. Working with our gentle horses in a supportive environment, participants experience the unique benefits of equine-assisted therapy while building lasting connections with their equine partners.

Dive into the world of horsemanship through daily riding lessons, grooming activities, and equine science learning. This immersive camp experience combines hands-on horse care with fun activities like basic roping skills and creative crafts, creating unforgettable memories for young enthusiasts. Open to children from Kindergarten through 5th grade.
June 16-19 | June 23-26 | July 7-10 | July 14-17
Experience the magic of farm life in our hands-on annual Farm Camp, where children interact with different animals each week – from dwarf bunnies to miniature horses. Young participants learn animal care, handling skills, and fascinating facts about our farm friends while developing responsibility and empathy. Open to children ages 4-10 years (must be 4 before camp starts).
July 21-24, 2025 | August 11-14, 2025
This unique non-riding program harnesses the natural healing presence of our horses and miniature animals to help reduce stress, build confidence, and enhance emotional well-being. Through guided groundwork activities like grooming, leading, and trust-building exercises, participants develop deep connections that foster personal growth and inner calm.

Through the power of the human-horse connection, our veteran services program provides a unique path to healing and reintegration for those who have served. Veterans work with our equine partners in a safe, supportive environment to address physical, emotional, and mental challenges while developing valuable skills for civilian life. Must be a military veteran.

Solid Ground’s Equine-Assisted Learning (EAL) program, where the powerful connection between humans and horses is harnessed to promote personal growth, self-awareness, and the development of essential life skills. Our program, also known as Equine-Assisted Leadership, is an exceptional tool for team building and leadership development, pairing horses with individuals and teams to teach skills that revolutionize their ability to lead and work together.
